Connect with the enormity and wonder of nature, and of each other.
Dharma Care owns and operates Sine Cera Rainforest Retreat. It is located on 200 acres of spectacular rainforest gullies, pristine creeks and dramatic bushland ridges in Cougal, Northern NSW, Australia. It is home to iconic flora and fauna, including endangered species. It adjoins the World Heritage Border Ranges National Park and its ancient Gondwana forests.
Significant discounts apply to families, charities and disadvantaged groups. Low-cost rates also apply to commercial groups. Sine Cera operates as a social enterprise and any surplus supports our charitable activities.
For over 30 years, Sine Cera has hosted hundreds of groups focused on health and wellbeing, creativity, spirituality, physical exercise, family gatherings, the environment and charitable work, as well as conferences and corporate events.
It is a wilderness venue within 2 hours of Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Lismore and Beaudesert. It is a sanctuary – a place to rejuvenate the spirit.
A visit to Sine Cera connects our visitors to very ancient and important needs – the need to connect with the enormity and wonder of nature, and the need to connect with each other. It is through these connections, and friendships forged in such an environment, that our guests are rejuvenated and group outcomes achieved. No matter what the focus of the group, Sine Cera will add to the success of its endeavour.
“We’ve just had the best weekend here. Wonderful facilities, privacy, bush walks, swimming holes and great food. I’ll be back. It was an amazing weekend. The setting is beautiful and the commercial kitchen made it so easy to produce the astonishing meals my guests provided. And they all LOVED the place. People didn’t want to leave and many want to come back. It’s not glamorous or luxurious in any traditional way but it’s magnificent. Thank you.” Annie
Annual Target: $10,000 to subsidise charitable groups to stay at Sine Cera.
