Flooding in Tweed and Kyogle Shires has been devastating. As the video shows, hundreds of families have been affected – many losing everything and homeless.
As we did for the bushfires, we are fundraising for what will be a very long recovery period – long after the debris has been cleared.
We will work with the Shire Councils and other charities to identify the most destitute and desperate of families so we can provide them with essentials such as clothing, cleaning products, food, linen, and basic furniture.
As a local charity, our internet services have also been affected. Even so, we have been able to get this donations information up so we can get on with helping local families as soon as we can.
